What personal data do we collect?

When you sign up online for our city game, or when you fill out our contact form, you will be asked to provide information. In this case, we only process the data you provide yourself. These may include the following:

What is the purpose of using personal data?

The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:

  • If you participate in one of our activities, we use your email address to (1) send you practical information about our game in advance, (2) ask for your opinion afterwards, (3) keep you informed about new editions or other activities that we may develop in the future, but only if you have explicitly indicated that we may contact you about this in the future.
  • We use your name and email address to send newsletters. We only do this if you have explicitly indicated that you wish to receive a newsletter from us, never with data received through our contact forms. We never add your email address to a mailing list ourselves.
  • When you fill out the contact form, your name and email address are necessary to provide you with a response.
  • We use your name, email address, and physical address to create invoices.
  • When you register for a paid activity, we use your email address to send payment confirmations and any payment reminders. By providing your data, you give us permission to use the data for the aforementioned purposes. In addition, some of this data is necessary for the performance of the contract, if certain services need to be performed for you. We process your data therefore on the basis of Article 8 sub a and sub b WBP.

Your personal data is stored on servers of the mailing provider Postmark. The servers of Postmark are located in the United States. Your data may therefore be transmitted, stored, and processed in the United States. The transfer of this data is based on the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.
