Most players walk 2 to 4 kilometers during the game. The distance between tasks averages 180 meters. This way, walking is frequently interspersed with rest moments where the brain is challenged. It is certainly not necessary to run during the game. Experience shows that the live scoreboard creates a lot of tension, which can lead to increased competition as the game progresses. However, you determine the intensity yourselves.
The starting location is in the city center and is flexible. We will discuss together what the best starting location is for you. Afterwards, you will return to the starting point or another location will be agreed upon.
Yes, the teams spread out very quickly because the number of points you can earn for a task depends, among other things, on the number of teams that have already solved the task correctly/incorrectly.
It may happen that two teams arrive at a task together. Such moments are experienced as fun because the competition between the teams at that moment gets an extra dimension through a direct duel. If you submit the correct answer faster than the other team, you receive more points. However, submitting an answer quickly increases the chance of giving an incorrect answer. In such a case, you lose 30 points, which can also be taken away by the other team.
No, you choose in which order you solve the challenges yourself. The number of points you receive for correctly solving a challenge is dynamic and depends on various factors such as the number of teams that have already solved the challenge correctly/incorrectly. Due to the dynamic nature of the points, determining which challenge to solve next is an important strategic choice."

It is not a problem to have Urban Hunt take place in the dark if each team has at least one good flashlight. Experience shows that the flashlight of the smartphone is not powerful enough for this purpose.
Playing in the dark makes the game more challenging, which is why some groups choose to play the game in the evening. Each city has an average of two challenges that are very difficult to solve in the dark. Through a creative/smart approach, some teams still manage to solve these correctly.
